We are Scientists and Engineers, who specalise in data science, green chemistry, industrial biotechnology and composites engineering. In particular we are specialists in translating technologies out of research laboratories, up to pilot and commercial scales.
We have built and fixed recycling and bio-production systems, developed bespoke composites technologies as well as supported clubs and teams to grow.

Our work in: University Sailing
We developed the first surveys for the British Universities Sailing Association, to help them understand who was sailing in universities and what challenges clubs faced. As part of this, our report about participation within University Sailing can be found here.
Our work in: Metabolic upcycling
A chemical inevitability of biodiesel production is the the formation of crude glycerol. This is an issue, as this glycerol is very low purity and low value. We took a metabolic upcycling approach to understand if we could use single celled organisms to bio-transform the glycerol into a high value chemistries, like omega-three fatty acids. This worked well and our publication about using bio-diesel waste to produce high quality compounds can be found here.
